At Helping Hands, we believe providing a safe place to live is just the beginning. Lasting change happens when we address the challenges that brought a family into crisis and help them build a foundation for a better future.
Our approach combines transitional housing, transformational discipleship, practical assistance, and a Christ-centered community to help residents grow in three essential areas.
HOW IT WORKS
PHASE 1: Building Better Hearts
Through biblical discipleship, counseling, and caring relationships, we help residents experience healing, grow in their faith, and develop the character and confidence needed for a new beginning.
PHASE 2: Building Better Families
Through parenting support, mentoring, and practical assistance, we help mothers strengthen relationships, meet their children's needs, and build healthier, more stable families.
PHASE 3: Building Better Finances
Through employment assistance, education, budgeting, and help overcoming barriers like transportation and childcare, we equip mothers with the tools to move toward financial stability and independence.
A Personal Path to Progress
Every family's story is different. That's why we work with each resident to identify needs, develop a personalized Progress Plan, and provide the coaching, accountability, and encouragement needed to move forward.
