Ken Dinkins
Executive Director
Ken has a heart for helping people discover the new and better life God has planned for them. His passion is seeing individuals experience the transforming power of Jesus Christ, overcome difficult circumstances, and begin living with renewed hope and purpose.
With a background in education and pastoral ministry, Ken brings a teacher's heart and a pastor's compassion to his leadership of Helping Hands. He considers it a blessing to work alongside a dedicated team helping women and children experience healing, freedom, and lasting transformation.
Carol Schwab
Family Care Specialist
Carol believes that healing begins in the heart and that a growing relationship with Jesus can transform every area of life. She loves walking alongside women as they work through past hurts, discover their God-given worth, and build healthier relationships with their families and others.
As a pastor's wife, mother of four, and grandmother of five, Carol brings a wealth of life experience and a nurturing spirit to Helping Hands. Her hope is that every woman who comes through the ministry will discover the abundant life Jesus promises.
Jessica Garvin
Resource Specialist
Jessica knows firsthand what it means to experience God's grace in the midst of life's hardest seasons. Having experienced His healing and redemption in her own life, she has a special passion for helping women discover that their past does not have to define their future.
Jessica combines her personal journey with training in life coaching and trauma-informed care to encourage, guide, and support residents. Whether helping a mother access needed resources, navigate a challenge, or take another step toward independence, her desire is to see women grow in faith, confidence, and purpose.
